How far is it from Istanbul and Ankara? Yedigöller National Park lies within the province of Bolu. It is about 2.5-3 hours (160 km) from Istanbul and about 3 hours (230 km) from Ankara. As it is about 7 hours (560 km) from İzmir, tours departing from İzmir are run with an overnight stay. Is the walk difficult? How many kilometres do we cover? The walking routes are easy to moderate. The day programme covers a total of 6-8 km and the overnight programme 8-10 km. The lakeshores are flat, and the forest trails have gentle slopes. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Where do the coaches depart from? Coaches depart from agreed central points on the European and Asian sides of Istanbul; from central points in Ankara such as Kızılay, Çankaya and Yenimahalle; from central points in İzmir such as Konak, Karşıyaka and Bornova; and, in the surrounding provinces, from the main stop nearest the company's location.
