The corporate chocolate workshop trip is a full-day programme in Eskişehir in which participants tour a chocolate factory's production line with a guide and then make their own chocolates with a chocolate chef. The group reaches Eskişehir by road or flies in via Istanbul, Ankara or İzmir; the day starts at the factory in the morning and ends with the workshop and packaging in the afternoon, and participants take their own chocolates home.
The factory tour explains, on site, how cocoa beans are processed, how milk, dark and white chocolate are produced, the quality control steps and the machinery used, followed by a tasting break at the factory shop. At lunch, the group can try dishes from Eskişehir cuisine such as çibörek, balaban kebab and met halva.
In the workshop, participants learn to temper chocolate, pour it into moulds and decorate it with hazelnuts, pistachios, dried fruit, dragées and gold leaf to create their own designs. Once cooled, the chocolates are packaged and handed over together with certificates of participation. If time allows, a short city tour can be added covering Odunpazarı, known for its Ottoman-era mansions, the Kurşunlu Mosque and Sazova Science, Culture and Art Park.
It suits department and project teams of 8-35. The workshop takes place at the table and physical effort is low; the factory tour and the optional city tour involve short walks. Because it produces a tangible result, it is a day that naturally sparks sharing and conversation within the team.
With a chocolate chef, participants pour melted chocolate into moulds, decorate it with ingredients such as hazelnuts, pistachios, dried fruit, dragées and gold leaf, and prepare chocolates of their own design. At the end of the workshop the chocolates are packaged and given to the participants.
