Overview
The Uludağ corporate ski trip is a winter programme that takes employees onto the slopes at the Uludağ ski resort south of Bursa, planned as a day trip or with 1-2 nights' accommodation. The group travels by coach from Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir and the Marmara provinces; equipment hire, a skipass and a group lesson with an instructor are included in the package. It is designed for teams of 25-250 that want to bring employees who have never skied together with experienced skiers on the same day.
What is in the programme?
Having reached Bursa by coach, the group goes up to the hotel area by cable car or by road. Once ski and snowboard equipment has been handed out, participants are split by level: beginners join a two-hour group lesson with an instructor, while experienced skiers take the chairlifts to slopes of varying difficulty. On the day-trip programme, lunch is taken on the mountain and the return journey begins in the late afternoon.
On residential packages the day is completed with breakfast and dinner at the hotel; on the second day slope time is longer, and employees who took the group lesson have the chance to consolidate what they learned. Uludağ, also known in the Ottoman period as Keşiş Dağı, has the highest summit in the Marmara Region; its ski areas lie at the forest line on the northern slopes below that summit.

Planning Notes
- Depending on snow conditions, the most reliable period is usually from late December to March; weekday dates give a more comfortable day on the slopes.
- Helmets, goggles and gloves are an optional additional service; thermal base layers and waterproof jackets are the participants' own responsibility.
- Activities such as ATVs, snowmobiles, sledging and spa are not included in the package and are added separately on request.
- A meeting room can be added as an additional service; for residential packages, the participant list should be confirmed early for room planning.

Yes, beginner-level lessons are given by professional ski instructors. Group lessons are included in the standard package. One-to-one private lessons are offered as an additional service. For those who do not wish to ski, alternative activities such as sledging, ATV safari and snowmobiling are also available.
Skipass prices are set by the resort for each season and differ for 1-day, 2-day, 3-day and flexible multi-day passes, as well as for online and ticket-office purchases. A 1-day skipass is included in our standard package. Longer or flexible passes can be added as an additional service.
Coaches depart from the main stop closest to the company's location: set central points on the European and Asian sides of Istanbul (Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Mecidiyeköy, Levent, Bakırköy, Pendik, Taksim, Beşiktaş, Maltepe, Kartal, Avcılar, Beylikdüzü, etc.); in Ankara, Kızılay, Çankaya, Yenimahalle, Etimesgut, Batıkent, Keçiören, ODTÜ, Bilkent and Ankara University; in İzmir, Konak, Karşıyaka, Bornova, Bayraklı, Buca, Gaziemir, Balçova and Çeşmealtı; and in the surrounding provinces (Kocaeli, Sakarya, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Kırklareli, Bursa, Yalova, Konya, Eskişehir, Manisa, Aydın, Denizli). Door-to-door transport is offered as an additional service.
As standard, Swissôtel Uludağ Bursa is preferred. The hotel offers facilities including an Auditorium for 418 people, the Göknar Room for 130, the Gürgen Room for 320, a spa, an indoor pool and a sauna. Other hotels to suit the budget can also be chosen at the company's request.
The ski season on Uludağ generally runs from December to March. The heaviest snowfall comes in January and February. In March the weather is milder. Weekday trips are quieter and more economical than weekends. It is worth keeping an eye on events such as White Fest and the Uludağ Music Festival.
Equipment is supplied from rental centres at the hotels or at the foot of the slopes. All equipment is regularly maintained and from quality brands. At the time of hire, suitable equipment is issued according to shoe size, height and weight. Accessories such as helmets, goggles and gloves can be hired as an additional service.
