DMC Turkey | Destination Management for Corporate Groups

DMC Turkey for corporate groups: TURSAB-licensed destination management in Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya and Izmir. Incentives, meetings, one contract. Şirket büyüklüğü, bütçe segmenti ve sürdürülebilirlik hedeflerine göre seçilmiş tur ve paketleri bu sayfada karşılaştırabilirsiniz.

A destination management company (DMC) in Turkey is the local partner that turns a corporate brief into a delivered programme: venues, hotel blocks, ground transport, guides, permits, catering and on-site staff, contracted and invoiced in one place. Kurumsal Geziler operates as a TURSAB-licensed DMC for international companies and their agencies, with programmes across Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, Izmir and the Black Sea coast. This page explains what our DMC scope covers, how we work with overseas agencies and corporate planners, what changes with group size and how the quoting process runs. The catalogue holds more than 100 ready programmes; every one of them is a starting point, not a fixed itinerary.

What does a Turkish DMC actually deliver?

Four things an overseas planner cannot do efficiently from abroad. Local contracting: hotels, venues, restaurants and transport suppliers are contracted under Turkish law with one master agreement, so your organisation signs once. Ground operations: airport meet-and-greet, executive fleets, coach logistics and a bilingual operations lead who stays with the group. Permits and access: private openings of museums and palaces, event permits for public spaces, security coordination for VIP delegations. Programme design: incentive routes, meeting formats and cultural content built for corporate outcomes, not for leisure tourism. Programmes such as the executive strategic retreat and the top-performer incentive trip show the formats we run most often.

Which destinations do we operate in?

Istanbul is the hub: Bosphorus venues, convention hotels, historic-peninsula private access and two international airports. Cappadocia is the incentive destination of choice for groups of 20-120, with cave hotels, balloon programmes and strong venue capacity outside the summer peak. Antalya and Belek serve large conferences and incentive resorts with year-round flight capacity. Izmir, Çeşme and the Aegean suit leadership retreats and offsites. For culinary and cultural incentives, Gaziantep, Hatay and Konya are established routes. North Cyprus is added for conference groups looking for resort capacity at short flight distance.

How do we work with agencies and corporate planners?

Most of our international work comes through incentive houses, event agencies and corporate travel departments. We take a brief (dates, headcount, objective, budget band), return an itemised proposal within three working days, and then run the programme under the agency's or the client's brand. Rates are quoted net for agencies with a clear mark-up policy, or gross for direct corporate clients. Site inspections are arranged for programmes above 50 participants. Communication runs in English through a single account lead; all contracts, insurance certificates and licence documents are shared before signature. Our guide on verifying a Turkish DMC lists what to check in that stage.

What changes with group size?

  • 10-40 participants: Boutique hotels, private venues, one executive coach or a fleet of sedans, a single operations lead. Board retreats and top-performer incentives.
  • 40-200 participants: Hotel blocks, gala venues, coach logistics with staged departures, registration desk and branding. Sales incentives and regional meetings.
  • 200-1,000 participants: Convention hotels or centres, parallel sessions, staggered airport arrivals, security and medical coordination, an on-site team of 8-20. Conferences and dealer conventions.

How are compliance, safety and licensing handled?

Kurumsal Geziler is licensed by TURSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, licence 12558), which is the legal requirement for operating group travel in Turkey. Supplier contracts include liability cover; travel insurance for participants is available as a line item. Participant data is shared with suppliers only to the extent needed (names for rooming lists and flights) and deleted after the programme. For events involving alcohol service, public spaces or VIP protection, permits and security coordination are arranged in advance and listed in the proposal. Hybrid formats for distributed teams are covered by the hybrid team gathering programme.

What do we not do?

We do not sell leisure packages to individuals, we do not subcontract on-site operations to third parties without naming them in the proposal, and we do not quote a programme without a site inspection when the group exceeds 200 participants. Being clear about scope early is what keeps an international programme on budget.

How does the quoting process run?

Send dates, headcount, objective and a budget band through the quote form; an itemised proposal (transport, accommodation, venues, catering, activities, operations) follows within three working days, two weeks earlier than the lead times we recommend: 8-10 weeks for city programmes, 12-16 weeks for incentives above 50 participants, 16-24 weeks for conferences. Once approved, the programme is closed under one contract and one invoice; a post-programme report with attendance and budget breakdown is delivered to the agency or client.

Frequently Asked Questions

A destination management company contracts local suppliers, runs ground operations and secures permits on your behalf. In Turkey, group travel must be operated by a TURSAB-licensed agency; a DMC gives you one master contract, one invoice and an English-speaking operations lead on site instead of a dozen supplier relationships.

Yes. Most of our international programmes come through agencies. We quote net rates with a clear mark-up policy, run the programme under the agency's brand where required, and provide one account lead for all communication. Site inspections are arranged for programmes above 50 participants.

Cappadocia for groups of 20-120 outside the summer peak, Istanbul for groups of any size with Bosphorus venues and private museum access, Antalya and Belek for large resort-based incentives with year-round flights, and Izmir or Çeşme for leadership retreats. Gaziantep and Hatay are the routes for culinary incentives.

We recommend 8-10 weeks for city programmes, 12-16 weeks for incentives above 50 participants and 16-24 weeks for conferences. Hotel blocks and venue holds are placed within two weeks of approval; earlier briefs secure better capacity in the May-June and September-October peaks.

Proposals are itemised by transport, accommodation, venues, catering, activities and operations, quoted in EUR or USD. Payment follows a deposit and balance schedule aligned with supplier deadlines; the programme is closed under one contract and one invoice.

Ask for the TURSAB licence (ours is 12558), supplier liability cover and the option of participant travel insurance. Our guide on working with a Turkish DMC lists the full checklist; all documents are shared before contract signature.
