The Amasya Culture and History Tour is a history, culture and nature experience designed specifically for corporate companies, planned with flexible travel options: by air from Istanbul and İzmir, or by road for teams from the provinces around Amasya (Tokat, Samsun, Çorum, Yozgat, Ordu, Sinop, Kastamonu, Merzifon and others). Flights from Istanbul and İzmir and airport transfers can be arranged within the programme, and for teams arriving by private or company vehicle from the provinces around Amasya, a meeting point and tour coordination are provided in the city centre. Transfers to the airport from the provinces around Istanbul and İzmir (Kocaeli, Sakarya and Tekirdağ for Istanbul; Manisa, Aydın and Denizli for İzmir) are also offered as an additional service.

Amasya has been home to many civilisations through its history — Hittite, Persian, the Kingdom of Pontus, Roman, Byzantine, Danishmend, Seljuk and Ottoman — and, known as the "City of Princes", it sits on the banks of the Yeşilırmak. Amasya also carries great importance as the place where the War of Independence began; it was Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's first stop after landing at Samsun, and the Amasya Circular was issued here.

On the tour, led by professional guides, the group visits the Rock Tombs of the Kings that have become the symbol of the city (Hellenistic period, belonging to the Pontic kings), Amasya Castle, the Bayezid II Complex, the Amasya Museum, Gökmedrese, the Burmalı Minare Mosque, the Ferhat and Şirin water channel that carries the legend of the same name, the historic Amasya houses (the Yalıboyu houses in particular) and the Hatuniye quarter.

A walk along the Yeşilırmak, photography breaks in front of the historic houses and the chance to try Amasya's famous apples, cornelian cherry sherbet, Amasya çöreği, keşkek, toyga soup and other regional dishes are also part of the programme.

Running roughly 8-10 hours, the programme starts and ends with transfers to Amasya Merzifon Airport for participants arriving by air. For those arriving by road, the tour starts from the agreed meeting point in the city centre. It can be extended with breakfast, lunch, bazaar shopping, museum visits and a walk by the river. A fuller two-day programme can also be planned around corporate needs.
