A long break is the most productive window for corporate travel
The Ramadan and Sacrifice holidays are among the rare periods in the corporate calendar when you can run a multi-day programme without anyone spending annual leave. Combined with a weekend they create a window of between four and nine days, which makes longer domestic routes and international programmes possible. Organisations that place their reward and recognition trips in these periods can offer a noticeably more substantial programme on the same budget.
Against that, this is one of the busiest periods of the year on the supply side. Corporate group capacity competes with the booking speed of individual travellers.
Programme options
Longer domestic routes
Cappadocia, the Eastern Black Sea, the Lycian line, Göbeklitepe and the south-east, Nemrut, the Kars line. Programmes of three to five days combining culture and nature. This is the format with the strongest effect on in-team bonds; the shared experience lasts longer.
Gastronomy-focused routes
Programmes built around regional cuisine, particularly Gaziantep and its surroundings. A highly memorable frame for reward trips and dealer gatherings.
International corporate programmes
Balkan capitals and European routes, where culture, networking and business visits can be combined. For destinations requiring a visa, the application timeline is the main constraint on planning.
Short-break format
Two-day programmes on nearby routes for teams that cannot give up the whole holiday. Bursa and its surroundings is the most chosen region in this format.
Three constraints when planning around a religious holiday
- Date uncertainty: holiday dates follow the Hijri calendar and move roughly 11 days earlier each year. Whether the official holiday joins up with bridge days varies by year. We therefore commit programmes to fixed dates once the calendar is confirmed, rather than to relative descriptions such as "the first day of the holiday".
- Capacity: flight, accommodation and vehicle capacity are the first resources to run out in holiday periods. For corporate groups 8 weeks is a realistic floor; for international programmes we recommend 12.
- Visas and documentation: on international programmes the participant list has to be confirmed early. Passport validity and the visa appointment calendar are the main factors setting the programme date.
Format by headcount
- 15-40 people: a longer domestic route with one vehicle, or an international group programme. The most flexible and cost-efficient range.
- 40-120 people: multiple vehicles and split accommodation. Shared programme points where the groups rejoin are designed along the route.
- 120+ people: a staggered movement plan, more than one accommodation property and a field coordination team. At this scale date flexibility becomes critical.
Scope and quote
Our quote shows transport (road or air), accommodation, guiding, entry fees, catering scope and field coordination on separate lines. On international programmes, visa process support and travel insurance are stated separately. The whole programme is closed with a single contract and a single invoice.
Stating which holiday period you are targeting, your estimated headcount and whether you are thinking domestic or international improves the accuracy of the first quote. If the exact holiday dates have not yet been announced, we check capacity and come back to you as soon as the calendar is confirmed.
