What is in the programme?
The short route takes in Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, the Ortaköy Mosque, Beylerbeyi Palace and the area around the Maiden's Tower. The standard route adds Küçüksu Pavilion, Anadolu Hisarı and Rumeli Hisarı; on the comprehensive route the boat passes under the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and continues as far as the shores of Kanlıca and Beykoz.
The yalıs are at the centre of the commentary: the Amcazade Hüseyin Paşa Yalısı in Anadoluhisarı, with its divanhane (reception hall) dating from the late 17th century, is one of the oldest yalıs on the Bosphorus; the Kıbrıslı Yalısı in Kandilli, with its long timber façade, and the Esma Sultan Yalısı in Ortaköy are also on the route. Planning Notes

- In windy weather and rough water the route may be shortened; it is useful to set a back-up day when choosing the date.
- The trip takes place entirely from the water; the yalıs are not entered.

Yes. Throughout the tour a professional guide gives detailed information on the architectural features of each yalı and historic building, when and by whom it was built, its stories and its present-day status.
Morning tours (10:00-13:00) are ideal for light and photography. Sunset tours (16:00-19:00) offer a striking atmosphere and exceptional views. In summer it can be hot around midday, so morning or late-afternoon tours are recommended.
No sharing: the tour is entirely private to your company. The boat is allocated to your group alone, so you are not mixed with other groups. This makes for an exclusive experience and ensures security.
Options with breakfast, lunch, a sunset cocktail or dinner are available. The menu includes dishes from Turkish cuisine, seafood, meat dishes, vegetarian options, fresh fruit and desserts. Alcoholic drinks can also be added with the open bar option. All dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, allergies) are met if notified in advance.
Yes. The boats have covered areas (a glass-enclosed lower deck or indoor saloons). In light rain an awning or the covered area is used. In severe storms and adverse weather the tour is postponed or cancelled. The decision is made on the morning of the tour by the captain and the organisation team.
2 hours is recommended for busy schedules, 3 hours to see the main features of the Bosphorus, and 4 hours to see the whole Bosphorus and all the yalıs in full. The most popular choice is the 3-hour standard tour.
