The Cappadocia corporate trip is a multi-day programme with 2-4 nights' accommodation that tours the fairy chimneys, rock-cut churches and underground cities of the Cappadocia region, centred on Nevşehir, with a guide. Accommodation, the meals in the programme, museum entry and transport within the region are included; teams arriving by air are met at Kayseri or Nevşehir airport. It suits teams of 8-35 looking for an incentive trip that combines culture, nature and a shared experience.
The region's landforms were created as layers of volcanic tuff were worn away by wind and water. The programme begins at the Göreme Open-Air Museum, part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, where rock-cut churches and frescoes tell the story of monastic life in the region. In valleys such as Paşabağları and Devrent, the different shapes of the fairy chimneys can be seen, and the region is viewed from above from Uçhisar Castle.
At the Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı underground city, the group explores ventilation shafts, storerooms and the passages between levels. In the Ihlara Valley, on the Aksaray border, the group walks along the Melendiz Stream and visits the Selime Monastery at the end of the valley. In Avanos, on the banks of the Kızılırmak, participants try their hand at the wheel in a pottery workshop.
It suits teams of 8-35 planning a sales reward trip, an executive gathering or a year-end incentive programme. The effort level is moderate; there is walking on uneven ground in the valleys, and the underground city involves narrow, low passages, so participants who are uncomfortable in enclosed spaces should be informed in advance.
Two airports serve Cappadocia: Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) and Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV). Kayseri offers more flight options and usually more affordable tickets, but the transfer to the region takes 1-1.5 hours. Nevşehir is closer (30-40 minutes) but has fewer flight options. Transfers from both airports are arranged as part of the trip.
No, the balloon flight is not included in the standard package. It can be added as an additional service for an extra charge. Balloon flights usually take place early in the morning (05:00-08:00) at sunrise, and because of high demand, booking in advance is recommended.
The trip includes visits to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, Paşabağları (Monks' Valley), Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), Love Valley, Kızılçukur Valley, Pigeon Valley, the Ihlara Valley and the Soğanlı Valley.
The programme is most commonly planned as 3 days/2 nights. At the company's request, it can also be arranged as 2 days/1 night (intensive) or 4-5 days (more comprehensive, covering all the valleys).
Local specialities to try include testi kebab (meat or chicken cooked in a clay pot that is broken open to serve), mushroom soup, the region's own wines, Avanos pottery kebab, gözleme, mantı, perde pilavı and apricot desserts.
Items to buy include Avanos pottery and jugs, jewellery and ornaments made from onyx, hand-woven carpets, souvenirs featuring fairy chimneys, prayer beads, local wines, and dried apricots and raisins.
Yes, the trip is planned entirely and exclusively for companies. The hotel, vehicles, guide and activities are arranged according to group size. It can run with a minimum of 8 people.
The best times to visit Cappadocia are spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October). The weather is mild in these periods, and conditions suitable for balloon flights occur more often. Summer is hot and winter is cold and snowy, although in winter the snow-covered fairy chimneys take on a fairy-tale appearance.
The Cappadocia Corporate Trip is best suited to department and project teams of 8-35. The itinerary can be shaped around the number of travellers, the departmental structure and the motivation outcome the company has in mind.
This trip is placed in the standard segment. Its price is finalised once headcount, dates, transport, meals, guiding and any additional activities are clear.
Additional features that set this programme apart: contribution to the local economy, ecological, carbon-free, low waste and an accessible programme. Low-carbon transport, low-waste operations and local sourcing can be added where needed.
Complete the tour request form with your number of travellers, date range, destination, budget segment and any special requirements, and we will put together a proposal with alternative prices and itineraries for your team.
