Overview
The Eskişehir corporate trip is a full-day programme that spends around eight hours touring, with a guide, this student city where the historic houses of Odunpazarı sit alongside modern urban parks. Sazova Park, Odunpazarı, the museums and the Porsuk riverside are covered in the same day, and admission to the museums in the programme is included in the package. What is in the programme?
After meeting in the city centre, the group heads to Sazova Science, Culture and Art Park to visit the Fairytale Castle, the Pirate Ship and the Science Experiment Centre, and to take in the view of the park from the glass-terrace viewpoint. Lunch features flavours unique to Eskişehir, such as çibörek, balaban kebab and met halva.
In the afternoon the group explores the narrow streets and craft shops of Odunpazarı, where Ottoman vernacular architecture survives in colourful houses with bay windows and which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. The visit includes the Odunpazarı Modern Museum (OMM), designed by the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and known for its stacked timber beams. After the Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Museum comes a walk along the Porsuk River, where those who wish can take a gondola ride. If time allows, the day ends with an art or glass museum, and free time is given for shopping for meerschaum and nougat.

From Istanbul to Eskişehir takes about 3-3.5 hours (via the TEM motorway), from Ankara about 4 hours (via the Eskişehir road) and from İzmir about 5 hours (via the İzmir-Bursa-Eskişehir route). The tour programme is set to start early according to the distances involved.
