Overview
The Lycia corporate trip is a comprehensive programme with 4-6 overnight stays that tours the ancient cities, coves and canyons of ancient Lycia with a guide, from the Fethiye coast of Muğla to the Kemer area of Antalya. Accommodation, meals, site entries, the Kekova boat trip and regional transport are included. It suits teams of 8-35 who want to combine history, sea and nature in an extended incentive trip.
What is in the programme?
The Lycians formed a league whose cities were governed by a common assembly, and are known for monumental tombs carved into the rock. On the Fethiye side, the rock tombs of Tlos and Pınara, the cold waters of Saklıkent Canyon, and the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Xanthos and Letoon form the first stops. Patara, home to the league's assembly building, is also known for its long sandy beach.
After Kaş and Kalkan, the group visits the theatre, rock tombs and the Church of St Nicholas at Myra in Demre. The Kekova tour by private boat takes in the remains of a partly submerged city and Simena Castle at Kaleköy. The route is completed on the Kemer side with Olympos, Yanartaş at Çıralı, where natural gas flames burn from the rock, and the three-harbour ancient city of Phaselis.

Planning Notes
- April to June and September to October are the best months for site visits; midday heat is high in July and August.
- Participants bring their own torch for the Yanartaş walk; sun lounger use at Çıralı is not included.
- The Kekova tour depends on sea conditions; leaving a spare day for windy weather is recommended.

FAQ
At least 5 days and 4 nights are needed to see Lycia's main ancient cities (Patara, Xanthos, Letoon, Myra, Kekova, Olympos, Phaselis). For a more comprehensive tour (Tlos, Pınara, Saklıkent, Kaş, Kalkan, Çıralı Yanartaş), 6-7 days are recommended. A 4-day intensive programme can also be arranged to suit the company's needs.
The most visited are the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Xanthos and Letoon, Myra (Demre) with its rock tombs, the sunken city of Kekova, Patara, capital of the Lycian League, Olympos and Phaselis. Tlos and Pınara also stand out for their striking rock tombs.
The full Lycian Way is 540 km long and takes several weeks. A short section of the Lycian Way (from Olympos to Çıralı, or from Ölüdeniz to Faralya) can be added to our tour as an optional extra service (half day or full day). The standard programme does not include a Lycian Way walk, but nature walks take place within the ancient cities.
The Kekova boat trip takes about 3.5-4 hours. The sunken city of Kekova is viewed from a glass-bottomed boat, Simena (Kaleköy) is visited and there is a swimming stop at Tersane Cove. Lunch is served on board (fish, salad, meze).
The airports closest to the Lycia region are Dalaman (DLM) and Antalya (AYT). Dalaman is closer to Kaş, Kalkan, Patara, Xanthos, Letoon and the Fethiye area (30-60 min). Antalya is closer to Olympos, Çıralı, Phaselis and the Kemer area (30-60 min). Either airport can be used, depending on the tour programme.
Yanartaş is reached on foot along a gently sloping forest path of about 30-40 minutes (1.5 km). It starts from Çıralı and is a stony, earthen path. Comfortable walking shoes and a torch (for night-time climbs) are recommended. It is not demanding and everyone can manage it.
Yes, the tour is planned entirely as a private programme for companies. Hotels, vehicles, guides and activities are arranged according to group size. It can run with a minimum of 8 people.
The best periods in the Lycia region are spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October). The weather is mild at these times, swimming is possible (23-27°C) and temperatures are ideal for visiting the ancient cities. The summer months (June-August) can be very hot (35-40°C), so tours are run in the early morning and late afternoon. The winter months (December-March) can be rainy and are less popular for Lycia tours.
