Overview
The Cyprus corporate meeting programme is a MICE event in North Cyprus, usually lasting 3-5 days, that brings together meetings, incentive activities and cultural tours. Flights from Türkiye to Ercan Airport, transfers, accommodation, the meals in the programme and a fully equipped meeting room are included in the package. It is designed for executive and leadership teams of 5-25 who want to hold a strategy meeting in a setting that feels international yet is only a short flight away.
What is in the programme?
Meeting days run in the hotel's meeting room with a projector, sound system and flip chart. Guided cultural tours take place between sessions and on free days: in Kyrenia (Girne), Kyrenia Castle, which bears traces of the Venetian and Ottoman periods, and the harbour are followed by a visit to the Gothic Bellapais Abbey at the foot of the Beşparmak (Kyrenia) Mountains. In Nicosia (Lefkoşa), the group sees the Ottoman-era Büyük Han and the Selimiye Mosque, converted from a former cathedral.
In Famagusta (Gazimağusa), the tour covers the Gothic Lala Mustafa Paşa Mosque, the dungeon where Namık Kemal spent his years of exile, and the closed district of Maraş (Varosha). The Karpaz Peninsula can be added to the route on request. On the incentive side, team games, beach activities, a treasure hunt and a yacht trip are organised; evenings are rounded off with a gala dinner, live music and a traditional Cypriot night.

Planning Notes
- April-June and September-November are the most balanced months for both meetings and outdoor activities.
- Participants' valid ID cards or passports should be checked before the flight.
- Extra activities such as diving, ATV rides and jet skiing, as well as entry to Salamis and St. Hilarion, are not included in the package.
- Drinks outside the standard package and personal expenses are paid separately.

No. Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye can travel to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) without a visa, entering with a national ID card or passport. The visa status of participants of other nationalities should be checked in advance.
The 5-star hotels in the Bafra area (Arkin Palm Beach, Concorde, Limak Deluxe, Kaya Artemis, Merit Royal) are the most popular. These hotels have meeting rooms, congress centres, an aquapark, spa, beach and casino. Boutique hotels in the Kyrenia area or quieter hotels in the Famagusta area are also options. The hotel is chosen according to the company's budget, needs and expectations.
With its Mediterranean climate, Cyprus can be visited at any time of year. Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are ideal for meetings and incentive trips (mild rather than hot weather). In summer (June-August) beach activities and water sports take centre stage, although temperatures can be high. Winter (December-March) is quieter with more economical prices, but it is not swimming season.
Yes, a visit to the closed district of Maraş is included as standard on day 3 of the programme. The area was partly opened to visitors in 2019, and it is possible to see the ghost-town atmosphere of Maraş, one of the most famous resorts in the Mediterranean before 1974. The group enters the area by vehicle and tours it with a guide.
The fully equipped meeting rooms have a projector, screen, sound system, microphones (wired/wireless), flip chart, whiteboard, speaker's podium, lighting, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi and notepads/pens. Simultaneous interpretation booths and equipment can be added as an additional service if required.
Cypriot cuisine is a blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking. The main specialities are halloumi cheese (grilled or fried), şeftali kebab (lamb skewered with potatoes, tomatoes and peppers), molehiya (a leafy green vegetable dish), Cypriot köfte (bulgur, minced meat, spices), Cypriot wine (Commandaria, a sweet wine and one of the oldest in the world), artichokes in olive oil, hummus, tahini rusks, Cypriot pide, halloumi pastries and Cypriot sweets (rose jam, sesame biscuits, walnut sucuk).
At the Arasta Bazaar and Büyük Han in Nicosia: Cypriot embroidery, handicrafts, silverwork, copperware, jewellery, souvenirs and textiles with Cypriot motifs. Local products: halloumi cheese, olive oil, Cypriot wine (Commandaria), rose jam, sesame biscuits, walnut sucuk and spices. Perfume, cosmetics, electronics, alcohol and cigarettes can be bought duty-free.
The flight from Türkiye to Cyprus takes about 1-1.5 hours. There are direct flights from cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana and Antakya. The airport used is Ercan International Airport (ECN), the only civilian airport in the TRNC. Transfers from the airport to the hotels take 30-60 minutes on average.
