Overview
The Princes' Islands Work Camp is a flexible corporate event model designed specifically for companies, held on Istanbul's Princes' Islands (Büyükada, Heybeliada, Burgazada, Kınalıada), where employees can both work productively and spend a day surrounded by culture and nature. The programme runs by private coach from Istanbul and the surrounding provinces (Kocaeli, Sakarya, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Kırklareli, Yalova, Bursa and others) to Bostancı pier, and then out to the islands by ferry or, at the company's request, by private sailing boat or charter boat. The work camp comes in two main options: (1) a programme weighted towards a cultural tour and team activities on the islands, or (2) uninterrupted work all day in a private workspace on the island (a historic building, a boutique hotel meeting room, a reserved café or restaurant, or an outdoor workspace). On the second option, a short island tour or dinner can be added once the work is finished.
The Princes' Islands are one of the places where Istanbul breathes: no car traffic, and known for their carriages, bicycles and walking paths. Büyükada has the historic Aya Yorgi monastery on the hill, the Greek Orphanage, the Hamidiye Mosque, the pier square and the historic mansions; Heybeliada the Naval Academy, the Heybeliada Sanatorium and the Aya Nikola church; Burgazada the Sait Faik Abasıyanık Museum and Kalpazankaya; and Kınalıada monastery ruins and quiet beaches. The island kitchen is known for its fish restaurants, stuffed mussels, island simit, island sweets and carriage-stop coffee.
On this camp, run by a professional event team, choosing the work option means a quiet workspace in nature with fast internet is reserved on the island (meeting rooms, a shared workspace or an outdoor workspace). Working hours can be planned between 09:00 and 17:00; snacks, lunch and coffee breaks are served in the workspace. On the cultural tour option, the island's history and setting are explored with a guide, bicycle or carriage rides are arranged and regional dishes are tried.
At the end of the day (roughly 17:30-18:00) the group returns from the island pier to Bostancı by ferry or private boat, and coaches take participants back to their addresses across Istanbul and the surrounding provinces. Dinner can be added as an option (at a fish restaurant on the island, or at a venue on the Bostancı shore on the way back).

From agreed central points on both sides of Istanbul (Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Mecidiyeköy, Levent, Bakırköy, Pendik and others) and, in the surrounding provinces (Kocaeli, Sakarya, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Bursa, Yalova), from the main stop nearest the company. Door-to-door can also be arranged on request.
It varies with the island and the venue, but the spaces we hire for the work camp have fibre or high-speed wireless internet (a minimum of 50-100 Mbps). The meeting rooms also have projection, a printer and a whiteboard.
Büyükada (the widest choice of workspaces), Heybeliada (quiet, surrounded by nature), Burgazada (an artistic feel) or Kınalıada (the quietest) can be chosen. We make a recommendation according to what the company needs.
On the work option, work continues indoors. On the cultural tour option the programme shifts to indoor venues (museums, churches, cafés) or converts entirely into a working day.
By private motor yacht, Bostancı to Büyükada takes roughly 20-25 minutes; by sailing boat 35-45 minutes depending on conditions. The ferry takes 45-50 minutes. A private boat crossing is offered as a VIP experience for an additional fee.
Roughly 12-14 hours from the coach departure to the return (07:30 to 20:00/21:00). The programme on the island runs from 09:45 to 17:30, roughly 7.5-8 hours.
Meals are not included in the standard package. Breakfast service, lunch, snacks and dinner can be added as additional services. Regional dishes can be tried at the island restaurants.
