The Sapanca corporate rafting tour is a full-day team event with a descent in inflatable rafts on a river course in the Sapanca area of Sakarya, starting at 08:00 and ending with the return to Istanbul at around 19:00. All equipment – raft, helmet, buoyancy aid and paddle – and personal accident insurance are included in the package. It is designed for teams of 25-250 looking for an experience that calls for a shared rhythm and split-second decisions.
What is in the programme?
After arriving by coach, the group first receives a safety briefing and changes clothes. On dry land, the guides demonstrate the paddle commands, what to do if someone falls out of the raft and the seating arrangement. Each raft then takes to the water with its own guide; throughout the descent, paddle synchronisation, steering commands and communication within the crew directly determine the outcome.
A lunch break follows the descent; restaurants in the area offering trout, grilled köfte and vegetarian options are preferred. In the afternoon, a free slot is planned for a walk, a photo stop or team games on the riverbank, and the group sets off on the return journey at around 16:30.

Planning Notes
- The best period for rafting is late spring and the summer months, when the water level is sufficient and the weather is mild.

- Participants should bring clothes that can get wet, a change of clothes, a towel and lace-up shoes that hold the foot securely.
