Overview
The Barcelona corporate architecture trip is a five-day international programme led by an architect guide, spanning Gaudí and Catalan Modernisme through to contemporary architecture and urban regeneration projects. It begins with a flight from Istanbul, Ankara or İzmir to El Prat Airport, with accommodation in hotels close to the city centre. Historic buildings and current built examples are read side by side on the same route.
What is in the programme?
On the morning of day two an architect guide leads the group along Passeig de Gràcia to the Modernist buildings of the Eixample; in the afternoon the group visits Gaudí's Sagrada Família Basilica and Domènech i Montaner's UNESCO-listed Sant Pau Modernist ensemble. The mornings of days three and four are set aside for visits to architecture practices and institutions relevant to your sector; these visits are requested on your behalf, depend on the host's approval and schedule and are not guaranteed. Any unconfirmed slots are used for architect-guided city walks. On the afternoon of day three, in 22@ and Poblenou, the group examines the superblock schemes, the green transformation of Consell de Cent street and the area around Torre Glòries.
On the afternoon of day four the group visits the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Pavilion, designed for the 1929 World Exhibition, and the Fundació Joan Miró designed by Josep Lluís Sert. On the final day the La Borda housing cooperative and examples of social housing are viewed from the outside with the architect guide, followed by the return flight.

- Visits to architecture practices, institutions and universities depend on the host's approval and schedule and are not guaranteed; confirmed visits are shared before the programme.
- For large groups, pavilion visits and any confirmed office visits are split into smaller sub-groups that rotate.
- Timed entry slots should be reserved in advance for busy sites such as the Sagrada Família.
- Activities not in the programme, such as an interior visit to Casa Batlló, carry an extra charge.

Yes. Participants from provinces other than Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir first connect to one of these cities on a domestic flight. As an additional service, we can also organise all domestic flights and connections for you.
Visa procedures are not included in the standard package, but we offer Schengen visa advisory and appointment follow-up as an additional service. As part of the tour, we provide the company invitation letter and all booking documents.
The standard programme is 5 days and 4 nights. On request it can be customised as 4 days and 3 nights (intensive) or 6 days and 5 nights (more comprehensive, with Montserrat or Girona added).
Yes, all the guides on our tour are professional architects with in-depth expertise in Barcelona's architectural history, current projects and urban planning. Turkish-English interpreting is also provided at any confirmed office and institution visits.
On request, we try to arrange visits to sustainable housing projects (eco-collectives, Passivhaus examples), industrial conversion projects, social housing examples and building materials innovation centres; these visits depend on the host's approval and schedule and are not guaranteed. Projects open to the public can be viewed from the outside with the architect guide.
