The Corporate Photography Trip is a learning and discovery programme in which employees learn about light, composition and basic camera settings from a professional photographer and put them straight into practice in the field. It is planned as a four-hour half day, a 6-8 hour full day or a two-day camp covering both sunset and sunrise; teams of 8-35 can take part with a DSLR, a mirrorless camera or a mobile phone.
Every version opens with a short theory session: basic settings such as ISO, aperture, shutter speed and white balance; composition principles such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, framing and negative space; and reading the light through the concepts of golden hour and blue hour. The group then heads out for a guided shoot at the chosen location, which may be a street in the historic peninsula, a coastline, a forest trail or an industrial site, depending on the company's preference.
Themes and assignments set in the field encourage participants to look at the same scene from different angles; the instructor moves around the group giving one-to-one feedback and correcting settings on the spot. On the full-day programme, shooting is spread over two or three locations; in the camp version, sunset is photographed on the first evening and sunrise the next morning, followed by an interior or architectural shoot. The day ends with a review in which the best shots are discussed together, and the presentation of certificates.
Suitable for department teams of 8-35, above all marketing, design and product teams looking to sharpen their observation and attention to detail. Group assignments bring employees from different units together around a common goal. Physical effort is low to moderate depending on the location; field shoots involve several hours standing and walking.
Yes, excellent photos can be taken with modern mobile phones too. The training is adapted for both DSLR/mirrorless camera users and mobile phone users. Topics such as composition, light and perspective apply to every kind of equipment.
It can be held in any province of Türkiye. Example locations: Istanbul (the historic peninsula, the Bosphorus, modern architecture), Cappadocia (nature and architecture), the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts (nature, sea), the Eastern Black Sea (highland pastures, waterfalls), Central Anatolia (historic buildings, steppe), the Marmara region (lakes, forests) and the Southeast (stonework, bazaars). The location is set entirely by the company's request.
Yes, the programme is suitable for beginners. The basic concepts are explained in plain language for those who have never had any photography training. More advanced participants can be given extra tips and more challenging assignments.
It can be planned as a half day (4 hours), a full day (6-8 hours) or a 2-day overnight camp (at a weekend). This is determined entirely by the company's needs and budget.
The choice depends on the company's objectives and the participants' interests. Nature themes (landscapes, wildlife, plant details), interior themes (museums, factories, offices, hotels, restaurants, the interiors of historic buildings) or architecture themes (historic mosques, bridges, modern skyscrapers, street texture, industrial structures). On request, several themes can be combined on the same trip.
Yes, the trip is planned exclusively for companies. It can run with a minimum of 8 people; pricing may differ for smaller groups. For one-to-one feedback, a maximum group size of 15-20 people is recommended.
The instructors are professional photographers who also hold a trainer certificate and have at least 10 years of experience in the field. The instructor best suited to the company's request is chosen from specialists in areas such as portrait, landscape, architecture, product, documentary and street photography.
All rights to the photos taken by participants belong to the participants. If the company wishes to use these photos in corporate communications, social media, its website or exhibitions, it obtains the participants' permission. The instructor's sample shots belong to the instructor.
The Photography Trip suits department and project teams of 8-35 in particular. Its flow can be customised to the number of participants, how the department is set up and the motivation outcome you are after.
