How is a sample run-of-show built?

A typical two-day flow starts with an afternoon arrival and a walk along the Kordon on the first day, with dinner planned in the centre. The second day is the Ephesus and Şirince route in the morning, lunch in Şirince and the return in the afternoon. On single-day formats either the centre or Ephesus is chosen; the two do not fit into the same day.

How are transport and logistics planned?

Adnan Menderes Airport is roughly 18 kilometres from the city centre and group transfers are straightforward. The flight from Istanbul takes an hour. Ephesus is about an hour away by vehicle and Alaçatı another hour; the two lie in opposite directions and are not put on the same day.

Culture and gastronomy programmes with one overnight stay are the most common format. Single-day city-centre routes are also frequently run to bring regional teams together. The meeting component is planned at hotels in the centre.

When should it be planned?

April-June and September-October are the most comfortable periods. In July and August Ephesus moves to the morning because of the heat. In winter, centre- and indoor-weighted formats are preferred; Alaçatı is quieter and more economical out of season.

What should be watched when planning?

Because Ephesus and Alaçatı lie in opposite directions they are not put on the same day; a two-day format is used to separate them. In summer, weekend traffic towards Çeşme affects the programme timing directly.
