The Balkan capitals corporate culture and networking tour is a business and culture programme departing from Istanbul that travels through Sofia, Belgrade and Sarajevo in 6-7 days, with an optional extension to Skopje. In each city, mornings are set aside for the business programme: visits to institutions and companies and B2B meetings relevant to your sector are requested on your behalf; they depend on the host's approval and schedule and are not guaranteed. Afternoons are for the historic centres and evenings for networking dinners featuring local cuisine. Transfers between cities are made by VIP vehicle.
In Sofia, the morning business programme is followed by visits to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the National Theatre and Vitosha Boulevard. In Belgrade the group sees Kalemegdan Fortress, overlooking the confluence of the Danube and the Sava, the Church of Saint Sava and Knez Mihailova Street; in the evening a networking event takes place at one of the floating river clubs known as splavs. The following day features a visit to the Nikola Tesla Museum and a wine tasting in Sremski Karlovci.
In Sarajevo the group visits Baščaršija, the Ottoman-era bazaar, the Latin Bridge, remembered for the assassination of 1914, and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque; after the morning business programme, a day trip to the Stari Most in Mostar or a nature walk on Bjelašnica can be chosen. The extended programme includes the Stone Bridge, the Old Bazaar and Matka Canyon in Skopje.
It suits SME and corporate teams of 10-80, including firms seeking exports, investment or partnerships in the Balkans, and dealer and sales teams. The city tours involve light to moderate walking; road journeys between cities are long.
The standard programme covers Sofia, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Skopje. Depending on the company's request, Tirana (Albania), Podgorica (Montenegro), Zagreb (Croatia) or Bucharest (Romania) can also be added.
Before the tour, your company's sector and target markets are clarified with you. Visits to institutions and companies and B2B meetings relevant to your sector are requested on your behalf; they depend on the host's approval and schedule and are not guaranteed. Confirmed meetings are shared before the programme, and any unconfirmed mornings are used for the city programme.
We provide interpreting at confirmed business meetings. English-language guiding is available on the city tours, and our interpreters accompany you when communicating with local contacts.
The standard programme runs for 5-7 days. The number of cities visited and the intensity of the programme are tailored to the company's needs.
The price depends on the number of cities, the length of the programme, the type of accommodation, the mode of transport (air / road), the number of business visits and meetings requested and any additional services. A tailored quote is prepared to match the company's budget and expectations.
Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia are visa-free; Bulgaria and Romania can be visited with a Schengen visa. Current visa requirements are sent to you before the tour.
Yes. The tour is planned entirely for your company, with transport, accommodation and meetings organised according to the group size.
Balkan cuisine is very close to Turkish cuisine. In each city, networking dinners are held featuring regional dishes (ćevapi, pljeskavica, burek, sarma, kazandibi, Bosnian börek and a rakija / šljivovica tasting). Halal food requests can also be met.
The Balkan Capitals Culture & Networking Tour is aimed at SME and corporate teams of 10-80. Meetings, visits and evening programmes can be reshaped around your headcount, the business units travelling and the commercial goals of the trip.
The tour sits in the standard segment. Its price is set according to group size, travel dates, transport, meals, guiding and any additional event elements.
The programme highlights its contribution to local economies and an accessible format. Where needed, low-carbon transport, low-waste operations and local sourcing can also be included.
Tell us your participant numbers, date range, preferred cities, budget segment and special requirements in the tour request form; we will then prepare a proposal with alternative pricing and itineraries for your organisation.
