Overview
The Prague corporate history and team trip is an international programme of 3 to 6 days that tours, with a guide, the historic centre of Prague, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992; the most frequently chosen durations are 4 days / 3 nights or 5 days / 4 nights. The group flies from Istanbul, Ankara or İzmir to Václav Havel Airport, and stays in 4-star hotels in the historic quarter or the city centre.
What is in the programme?
The route follows the Royal Way, the path taken by the coronation processions of the Czech kings, from Old Town Square to Prague Castle. Within the castle complex the group visits the Gothic St Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St George's Basilica and Golden Lane. The group crosses the 14th-century Charles Bridge over the Vltava, lined with statues, and sees the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square, in operation since 1410, together with its tower.
In Josefov, the Jewish quarter, the Old-New Synagogue and the Jewish Museum are visited. The funicular takes the group up Petřín Hill to view the city from the observation tower, and at Vyšehrad, the legendary founding site of the city, the group sees the cemetery where Smetana and Dvořák are buried. The social part of the team programme includes a Czech beer tasting workshop with 3-4 varieties.
