Sports, adventure and activity programmes are formats where physical energy, in-team trust and a shared objective all work at the same time. Hiking, rafting, cycling routes, orienteering and team competitions sit under this heading.

Every programme sets a difficulty tier based on participants' ability, and an equivalent alternative activity is planned for anyone who prefers not to take part; expecting compulsory participation produces exactly the opposite effect in this kind of programme. Equipment, safety briefing, certified instructors and insurance are included in scope.
